AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Monday has announced to invite former Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty to be part of Govt committee as he had long experience as the Education Minister. The committee to be formed to decided about the reopening of schools in Tripura amid COVID-19 pandemic. Addressing media, Minister Ratanlal Nath said that this is crucial time, when forgetting all narrow politics, state should take some decisions and come to conclusion about the school reopening dilemma. Former Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said that he welcomes of the initiative of the Tripura Govt. He told media, “Coronavirus is spreading heavily and here whole Education system is at pause. We have to fight back the situation and make ready the future generation also. I would be happy to be a part of the Govt committeeâ€.
However, this committee likely to end criticism by opposition which alleged, Tripura Govt does not take suggestion from the opposition. On the other side, both ruling and opposition’s joint presence with the administrative committee likely to bring solution to the problems.
