AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): BJP led brutal attacks in CPI-M Youth Wing’s blood donation camp has been condemned by former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar. Calling BJP party is coward, insecure, frustrated, Sarkar said, “The more BJP is becoming unpopular and getting away from public supports, they are holding such attacks again and again. This is nothing but expression of their frustration”. This incident took place at Belonia, where at least 5 persons in CPI-M’s blood donation camp were injured. In that attack, women were also targeted.

In South Sonaichari of Belonia a blood donation camp was organized by CPI-M’s students and youth wings but all of a sudden a group of BJP miscreants held attacks on CPI-M’s blood donation camp, left injured many. 

Youth leader Sudip Sen was injured in the brutal attack and his car was detained at Sonaichari market. His son Pulak Sen (22) was also injured in this severe attack. Total 4 persons were taken to hospital. In the brutal attack, also the people who came to donate blood were also injured.

They also detained the blood bank vehicle.  Stone pelting was done which had created further critical situations.

A woman, child and a Forest Official Sangam Baidya were also injured in this incident. Pulak Sen and Sudip Sen were referred to Gomati Dist hospital from Belonia hospital.
