AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Although Excise Dept brought a control to the situation by taking action against liquor shops which were caught for taking extra charges, but a section of sellers are still in attempt to loot public with higher charges.
In such an incident, customers have protested heavily before Lake Chowmuhani’s liquor shop which kept extra charges than MRP.

However, the shopkeeper rubbished the allegation, saying he did not take any extra charge, but when asked why no cash memo was given to the customers, the seller could not answer.
