AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Tripura COVID-19 cases have raised up to 998 as total 37 new cases were tested positive on Saturday. Tripura just waiting to touch thousand cases in COVID-19 pandemic, however, maximum of the COVID-19 positive are having a travel history. 278 persons have been recovered from COVID-19 and discharged from hospital. On Saturday in another blow, at least 37 persons have been tested COVID-19 positive. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced this via a tweet.
"Out of 210 samples tested for #COVID19, 37 Cases found #POSITIVE. All of them have travel history. The count includes 1) Sepahijala Dist 34 2) Gomati Dist : 03â€, CM tweeted. State Govt has urged the people to maintain social distancing and to stay at home as much as possible. Already Chief Minister Biplab Deb has multiple times requested returnees to follow the Home Quarantine properly.
So far one person has died in Corona-virus in Tripura. Nationally COVID-19 cases raised to 309K and deaths - 8,884.
