AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): When BJP’s pre-poll promises are far to go with testimony, Tripura’s devastated 10323 teachers set a protest today at the Circuit house, at the Gandhi statue premise demanding their livelihood and similar protests took place statewide, maintaining social distances. The BJP before the 2018 Assembly Election had promise to save the livelihood of the 10323 teachers but now, after 72 days of termination, no solution came to the teachers lives. Today statewide, in all subdivisions this protest was staged appealing the State Govt to give the teachers of their minimum salaries like before, till their problems are solved by the BJP Govt.
“If the Govt does not solve our problems by this month, we will go in massive protests further. We are facing so much of hardtimes due to financial crisis. Our colleagues are dying. Total 58 teachers passed away till date. We demand, Govt’s fastest intervention into the matter”, said the teachers.
