AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Congress senior leader Gopal Roy has criticised the BJP Govt and Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb over unemployment issues.
Addressing media, Roy said, "Tripura's youths are left workless in last 2 years. Previously also, due to massive unemployment huge numbers of youths left the state and today after 2 years of BJP Govt here, it has taken more serious shape".
"Before the election, BJP promised to give 50000 Govt jobs in a year but now Chief Minister when visiting quarantine centres, suggesting youths to sale chops, cutlets! What is thi ?", said Gopal Roy.
He also criticized the Govt for planning to increase numbers of liquor shops to generate revenue.
