AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Khowai District Youth Congress has distributed relief items among the poor people and daily workers at Teliamura near Vivekananda Higher secondary school.

In joint movement, following social distance guideline Congress party led by State President Pijush Biswas distributed food and other essential commodities among those people. State instructor Nitya Gopal Rudrapaul and other youth congress leaders were present there.

While talking to media state president Pijush Kanti Biswas said,"We are distributing relief materials since last three months. The state government however has declared that they are taking care of all the poor people who aren't getting any chance to earn money during this lockdown, but there has immense doubt.  The daily workers are not finding anyways for income. Because of the wrong plans and executions, the economic condition of India decreased in such low position.People are starving for food. In such situation Tripura Pradesh Congress members are trying to help the poor people who are in dire need, as much as possible."

Biswas also said that the distribution of relief items among poor people will be continued in future days.
