DHARMANAGAR (North Tripura), June 9 (TIWN): Tripura Police at Dharmanagar were caught in camera for punishing a man with sit-up after he was not wearing mask.

The police officials forced the man to sit up by catching his ears in an open market.

This action from police came after various departmental steps were taken against police brutality by Home Dept during the lockdown period.

Govt has already made rule to impose fines on the people, who are not wearing masks but instead of following the rule, North Tripura Police had chosen to display misuse of power in uniform.
