AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Although the ruling BJP Govt is claiming over decreased crime against women, but the media reports are showing the rate is always remained on peak. Also in recent national data, domestic violence cases were seen at high in the state. In this situation, various victim families are unable to keep faith on the police and administration fully led such a family to knock the Women Commission’s door. In the recently occurred incident where a middle aged house wife was brutally murdered at Dukli area of Agartala named is Ratna Gope, her family have met Women Commission members personally to ensure justice to Ratna Gope. On 1st June around 6 pm after seeing her body smeared with blood on the floor, neighbours informed police. Amtali police rushed to the spot and recovered her body.On the next day, her husband Manik Gope was arrested. Now family has demanded justice for the victim woman.
