AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Secondary Education Director has requested the TRBT to give requisition to recruit 175 Graduate Teachers (GT) and 65 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced in a press meet on Monday.

The Minister said, in appointing teachers, the matter is controlled by TRBT.

“42 UGT, 15 GT to be recruited from the waiting list of TRBT who are already TET qualified”, said Minister Ratanlal Nath.

Moreover, 40 Assistant Professor to be recruited by TPSC. Posts are : Bengali-4, English-10, Sanskrit-4, Education-5, History-5, Political Science-4, Human Physiology-4, Zoology-2, Botany- 2 posts.
