AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Tripura Congress once again has demanded Rs. 10000 for the daily workers.

Citing example of Battala workers’ workless situation’s media reports, Congress President Pijush Biswas said that from Battala to various parts of the state, workers are not getting works and thus Govt’s helps are very important.

“Give 10000 to them first and then from next month, at least give Rs. 70000”, Pijush Biswas told media.

The Congress President further criticized the State Govt for increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases in state, alleging, proper tests and quarantines were not observed.
