AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Local people of Golaghati has staged protest over Govt’s decision of withdrawal of TSR camp from their area. It is in Dayaram para, TSR 7th BN.
But, the locals said that it was under an order form the Health dept. Reportedly, to make a new hospital there, Health Dept took the decision.
In the year 2000, in Golaghati constituency, this TSR camp was established. It was aimed to curb the terrorism tensions.
But now with the withdrawal decision, protests have been erupted demanding to keep the camp as it is there.
"We also want that hospital should be built in our area, but we also need the camp here", said the locals.
