AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN): Police have been developing investigation fast in the Jirania murder incident, where one Surbir Debbarma (47), S/O-Shambhu Charan Debbarma was killed. Police arrested Binarani Debbarma (42),, wife of the deceased person.

Although, SDPO Suman Majumder said that the post mortem report is not yet in hand, but police have continued investigation seriously.

The SDPO told media, “We have arrested the deceased’s wife after interrogation, but needs to be investigated further. Today she was produced before court. Police have sought 5 days of police remand for her”.

The Police officer denied to give any secret details about the incident and said, this is just the early stage of investigation and nothing should be uttered without proper outcome of the investigation.
