AGARTALA, June 4 (TIWN): The Kailashahar-Kumarghat connectivity is totally cut due to rain led damages, followed by poor quality works there for years after years. As a result common men are massively suffering, specially who are crossing the area by feet and no vehicle is able to go by this route. Local people have alleged that from 2 years, the road left in miserable condition due to lack of maintenance and poor quality works. This road was made as temporary road to connect Kumarghat and Kailashahar in the Unakoti District. But with the rainy weather, the road was fully damaged and now when the road will be restored, it has no idea. Amid massive public suffering the local administration has no concern, neither any official has made any visit there. Local people have demanded immediate restoration of the road with quality works. Right now, no vehicle can pass by that road.
Talking to a local at there, he said, “Earlier there was pakka road and then after it was broken, then iron road was made and due to low quality of works, this bridge is damaged. We are not understanding, why the Govt is not taking any action”.
