AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): On Tuesday's press meet, Tripura state Congress president Pijush Kanti Biswas has blasted the BJP government for scandals during this crucial time. Addressing media at Congress state Headquarter, Biswas said,"In the name of quarantine centers Govt is doing JUMLA. Till now two biggest scams has been done by this govt, one is quarantine centers and another one is transportation of stranded people." Accusing the BJP led government he claimed that no proper care of the patients is taken in the quarantine centers, whereas a huge amount of money has been donated in CM Relief Fund. Patients are suffering massively there for the lack of proper food, water and electricity. He even claimed that for the negligence of government Tripura's Covid-19 count is multiplying everyday.
He said,"Before bringing the stranded people back in state, the Congress party have warned government and advised to keep them in institutional quarantine with proper care. Instead of doing so, they sent them for home quarantine leaving everyone around in danger."
