AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): SFI-DYFI-CITU jointly organised Blood-donation camp and Health Camp in Dhaleswar party office on Saturday. Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and other CPI-M leaders attended the program.
A lot of people donated blood in this function by maintaining the norms of Social distancing
Ex-CM Manik Sarkar while talking to media said, "Now a days the numbers of voluntary blood donation camps has been decreased. During the time of CPI-M government we used to organise blood donation camps as much as possible starting from schools to different associations. Even today also our wings are trying to organise calendar-wise blood donation camps across the state."
He also added,"This became the need of the hour, specially in this crucial time when there's shortage of blood in the blood banks. I urge everyone to come forward and participate in this noble work."
