AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): A touchless flight operation was reported in Tripura’s sole Airport, that is the MBB Airport.
However, today the operation started with only selective stranded people (from the ONGC) but public are eyeing for normal flight operations.
“This boarding system was fully touchless today. From entry point, each part was sanitized. Luggages were operated by themselves and all seated with social distancing. We had full preparedness and minimum staffs were allowed on spot”, said an official at the MBB Airport.

Only with ONGC staffs, 2 charter flights of Air India arrived today who were stranded. Both are charter flights. From Mumbai, the first flight has come with 42 passengers and while returning, it will be a connecting flight. In it from around 38 passengers will now go for Mumbai from Agartala MBB Airport now. In the same way, the flight which came from Delhi with around 40 passengers will be returning with around 40 passengers. That is also a joining flight with Dibrugarh.
