AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): Tripura Govt to form an Action Plan for ADC’s development, said Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma on blaming the previous CPI-M Govt for not doing enough development in the ADC areas.
Deputy CM said, the development of the ADC was very less than the expectation but now the Govt has taken an Action Plan for ADC development. He also said that as due to COVID-19 the charge had to be taken by Governor, now election will also take place in time.
“For election, developments can not stop. Thus, taking charge with help of state govt was necessary”, Jishnu Debbarma told media.
Governor's rule was imposed in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) on Monday as the polls have been postponed indefinitely due to the nationwide lockdown to check the spread of novel coronavirus, officials said. Chief Executive Officer of the TTAADC Balin Debbarma said that G.K. Rao, former Tripura Chief Secretary and a retired IAS officer, has been appointed as the Administrator of the autonomous body.
