AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): A Chennai-Agartala bound special Shramik train has arrived in Badharghat Railway Station today with around 1,400 stranded migrant people. Another train also arrived after that from Bengaluru. Talking to media, SDM Ashim Saha said, “Everything was kept well-managed. Health staffs for thermal screening and light food for the passengers with water were managed. Like everyday there are lots of people in the station and we are managing the overall situation including social distances. Then sample testing to other necessary things will also be done. Vehicles are kept in orders and the passengers will go to their home by any vehicle according to their budgetâ€. SDM Ashim Saha also mentioned that in both trains around 1400 passengers would have come, although the exact numbers have not come yet. Another train which already arrived in Dharmanagar also on the way to Agartala, which came from Bengaluru. The trains dropped Unokoti, Dhalai, North Tripura passengers in the Dharmanagar Railway Station and then left for Badharghat Railway Station in Agartala. In both Railway stations, all medical guidelines were followed and everyone's thermal screening tests were done.
