AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): The water crisis problem across rural areas remained unsolved yet leading massive suffering during lockdown period.
In this period of crisis, along with unemployment, poverty and water crisis have become major concerns for the common men.
A road blockade was staged by locals in Garddang Ashwini area of Shantirbajar today as a part of agitation against massive water crisis ongoing in that area.
The villagers said that they are suffering for drinking water for a long period of time but even after conveying about this problem to the officials,no steps are been taken by the administration.
There is only one connection of water in that village and people are by bound surviving by drinking well water. The villagers have demanded for a water tank that can help them to get fresh water.
