AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): Taking a dig at Police’s robust action against any gathering, Tripura’s former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has expressed resentment over Govt’s attitude of suppressing people’s voices.
Sarkar was addressing in a trade union organized protest programme in Agartala. He said, “Trade union’s work is to raise demands for the people. Total 44 laws which are anti-workers were tried to be adjusted in 4 laws and one was already passed, but then lockdown started”.
“Now the situation is on one side, people are unable to come out of homes and on the other side, if anyone is trying to say anything is facing police machinery”, added Sarkar.
He further raised question, how much poor workers to be benefited from the packages which are announced ?
Sarkar slammed the BJP Govt, accusing it has failed to address the working class’s pains, neither govt could bring out any solution for the poor people’s livelihood.
