AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): A mother was arrested in Tripura for her attempt to kill own son.

Police said that in morning it was informed to police that a woman hit her son with ‘Da’, caused severe injuries.

After police reached there, it became clear that the woman Mamata Bhowmik (50) attempted to kill her son and heavy bleeding occurred due to that.

Paranaji Bhowmik, S/O-Sushil Chandra Bhowmik was hospitalized after the incident.

A case was lodged at Amtali Police Station against Mamata Bhowmik.
