AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Ex-Health Minister Sudip Barman sent an open letter to Chief Minister Biplab Deb after Chief Minister, Chief Secretary ignored his repeated calls to highlight various irregularties by Govt officials on COVID19 related issues. Sudip Barman mentioned in his letter over sunstandard PPE kits which not only risky but threatening for Hospital Doctors, Nurses, Workers. Sudip Barman drawn attention to serious issues of substandard PPE kits, then lack of proper COVID19 testing by Govt offcials. State Govt should have cordorned and tested all houses in 3 km area of BSF camps in Dhalai but that step yet to be taken up. Among Tripura's all BJP Ministers in past 2 yrs, Sudip Barman's performance as Health Minister was best track record but at this time of emergency, if Govt doesnt want to listen any valuable advises, then how COVID19 will be tackled efficiently ?
