AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): With the Excise Dept has brought a shop under action after the shop-keeper charged sellers extra than the actual price during 3.0 lockdown, the Dept has warned all the businessmen if dare to take extra charges.
The shop keeper however has alleged injustice was done to him, accusing the Dept for not giving any prior notice. He also denied the charge of extra price and said, a person my mistake was charged higher but later he was pay off. The violator shop-keeper has been identified Ashok Kumar Roy, a liquor seller in Agartala. His shop No is 2 in Hawkers Corner, Agartala.
Excise dept SP said that any such activity of charging customers higher than the MRP will cost the shop with heavy actions.
Also, the dept has warned all the businessmen to keep the MRP price from customers.
