AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Beyond the traditional cultivational fashions of Tripura, a young man in Agartala has successfully cultivated green apples.

The energetic youth has been identified as Mithun Sarkar, resident of Bamutia in Agartala.

Without Govt’s help, the man has done this. Local MLA Krishnadhan Das has brought the matter before media to encourage him more. He also promised Govt's help to him for boundary walls. 

Mithun said that in 2005 he attempted the same but the pant died and again in 2018, same thinking came to his mind but it was second time that he failed. Then he understood that the method may not be correct which he is applying.

By learning from internet, books he started cultivation and after 2 years he is getting his  fruits.
