AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): A contractual SSA teachers went in protest at Teliamura IS office amid lockdown, denying to go in retirement.

Demanding extension of job, the teacher Mridul Roy started staging protest at the IS office. Later police detained him.

On being asked by media, he said, as PM Modi has requested everyone not to terminate anyone, thus, it is my right to continue the job.
