UDAIPUR, April 30 (TIWN): In another instance of Police brutality led by IPS officer Ramesh Yadav, 2 persons were injured amid lockdown in Udaipur town under Gomati District today evening.
Reportedly, today at around 7 pm in Jamjuri village’s Rajdhanagar area this incident took place.
A shopkeeper Rupak Miah, S/O-Lt. Jamshed Miah and customer Utpal Majumder faced sudden lathicharge of police led by Kakrabon PS officer Ramesh Yadav.
Both of them fell down on ground, started screaming. Local people rushed to the spot and also informed District Magistrate T.K.Debnath.
Later, the District Magistrate with own escort sent the injured persons in local hospital.
A source has informed, fortunately no major injury occurred to anyone.
