Agartala, Nov 16 (TIWN): All Tripura Engineers’ Association (ATEA) today conducted Central Committee conference at the M Bisheswaraiya Bhavan of Madhyapara in the capital city- Agartala. During the conference, ATEA submitted the secretarial report.
In the conference, Minister for Public Works Department (PWD)- Badal Chowdhury, general secretary of ATEA- Partha Pratim Das, members of the association and many other dignitaries were remained present.
According to the secretarial report, after the Lok-Sabha election, BJP formed government in Center. Since then, the country people are experiencing the role of central government. On the day five, the central government hiked the diesel price and the rail fare was also hiked by 15 per cent within a span of short period. The central government also deprives the poor people by allocating insufficient funds under MGNREGA.
It was also mentioned in the report; the state government is introducing and implementing several historical plans for the interest of state people amid limited funds.
In the organizational review part, ATEA mentioned, after conducting the 9th biennial conference, altogether 13 working committee’s and 20 secretariat meetings were organized. A new ATEA committee was constituted at Amarpur recently.
According to the conclusion of report, some of the diploma engineers were appointed in a recent past. To bring all the diploma engineers under the association flag, secretary of ATEA- Parthapratim Das requested all the in charges of local and divisional committees to take proper initiative.
