CPI-M, BJP fight over Lockdown relief distribution programme

AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): The CPI-M and BJP allegedly met in a verbal clash during a relief distribution programme.
CPI-M alleged that the party was distributing relief for COVID19 but stopped by BJP in a market at Kamalpur’s Durga Chowmuhani.
However, the distribution programme reportedly completed anyhow. From BJP no comment was given over the issue.
Amid COVID19 lockdown, relief distribution programmes with social distancing continue statewide by parties, NGOs, organizations.
