AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Citizens Collective against COVID19 has continued daily relief mission across Tripura led by eminent Lawyer of Tripura High Court Purushottom Roy Barman and others. In such a drive the Citizens Collective has distributed reliefs among 75 families.
In Bishalgrah 25 families, Bhati Abhoynagar-45 and more 25 persons in other places of Agartala were benefited by the distribution programme.
Criticizing the Govt, Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman has quoted economist Abhijit Banerjee, who said, “Till date Government has not done anything close to enough to mitigate the hardships of the common people”.
The Citizens Collective team also talked to workers and stated, they alleged, their economic situation is very pathetic and need Govt’s more support.
Various other NGOs, organizations in Tripura also have joined in such relief distribution programmes. People from various volunteers like our volunteers across the country, political parties, activists, various public organizations, workers from different levels, have been working hard for relief efforts.
