AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN); Atleast 50 needy families were distributed with dry rations, vegetables by Purvaudaya NGO led by General Secretary Niti Deb.

Local MLA of Barjala Dr Dilip Das also remained present on that occasion.

The distribution took place by maintaining social distances. Rice, Daal, Soya-chunks, Cooking Oil along with vegetables were distributed among the people.

The distribution programme took place covering Natunnagar, Dighalia areas.

While addressing media, Niti Deb said that the message is only one which is to be positive and to work dedicatedly for the society with us. She also congratulated the state for becoming COVID-Free saying, “It was a much awaited news”.

Purvaudaya NGO General Secretary Niti Deb, in spite of being Tripura CM's wife, also cooks every evening to supply cooked food items to the needy people.
