AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has announced Rs. 95,000 compensation to the storm affected households in state. As a part of immediate relief Rs. 5,000 were also given to the affected people totaling a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh.
The affected households are getting up to 1 lakh as during CM’s visit in flood affected areas Rs. 5,000 cash were paid to many who lost their homes in storm badly.
In a Govt media cell press release, it was stated, assistance of Rs. 5000 has been given to every affected family as immediate relief. Rs. 95,000 would be given to every family whose houses were damaged severely and Rs. 3,200 would be given to each family in case of minor damages. The farmers and animal rearers who suffered loss due to hailstorm will also be given assistance after survey.
