AGARTALA, April 24 (TIWN): On 24 Apr 2020, the Assam Rifles in conjunction with civil administration distributed 500 reusable masks made by personnel of Assam Rifles. The distribution of reusable masks was done at BDO office in Mandai, Jirania Subdivision, West Tripura District.
The distribution of reusable masks was undertaken under the aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles part of IGAR (East) under Operation Namaste to assist the locals in combating COVID-19 Pandemic.
The efforts of Assam Rifles to reach out to locals during this lockdown of COVID-19 was appreciated and lauded by the locals and civil administration.
