AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Citizens Collective Against COVID, 19 amid its limited capacity continues to serve the people stuck in poverty due to Lockdown with a large amount of dry-rations distribution programme.
Everyday 15 to 20 volunteers are working dedicatedly and every evening the volunteers prepare the relief goods for the next day’s distribution.
Secretary of the Citizens Collective Against COVID19, Tripura’s eminent lawyer Purushottom Roy Barman said, “There is absolutely no reason to run behind publicity but ultimately public are getting helps, that’s the main success”.
Citizen’s Collective against COVID19 has distributed relief goods among over thousand families in last week.
The distribution took place covering all the districts. Per family 5 kilo rice, 2 kilo potato, 750 gram mosoor daal, soyabeans etc are generally given.
Purushottom Roy Barman also thanked the distributors who are contributing in the organization to help the people suffering in crisis.
