Garia Puja observed with full devotion in Tripura without gathering, Social Distances maintained

AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Like every year, Garia Puja has been observed in Tripura with full devotion this year also but due to COVID19 pandemic, lockdown was maintained with social distancing.
In Agartala, Youngs Corner club like every year has observed this day by keeping social distances.
Garia puja is a festival of Tripura, held on the seventh day of the month of Vaishakha.
In Garia puja devotees sacrifice chicken for ritual purpose. It is a three day festival to honour the deity Baba Garia is held annually on the first day of Hindu calendar month of ` Vaisakh`.
