AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 15 (TIWN): Purvaudaya NGO led by NITI Deb (wife of Tripura CM Biplab Deb) distributed safety kits comprising of gloves, masks, food items as biscuits, saree to AMC workers in Agartala.

Total numbers of beneficiaries today are 100 reportedly.

This particular NGO along with many other NGOs in Tripura are dedicated working to fight against starvation by helping the needy people.

Also common men without any NGO or banner are helping the needy people here. In this drive, even needy people including rickshaw drivers have been seen participating by distributing food, dry ration according to their own financial capacities.

On being asked by media, Niti Deb said, “Today the whole nation is working towards a same goal to fight against COVID19 with nationalistic approach, helping poor at their best. All sections of people have joined in this battle. This is very healthy practice for the nation too, which has united everyone in a same tie of humanism”.

Earlier, Niti Deb cooked herself for poor in her kitchen, the footage which went viral in social media, gained lots of appreciation from netizens.
