AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 12 (TIWN): As the markets lost demands of flowers, the gardeners here are undergoing massive losses amid lockdown.
Talking to a gardener named Rana Sarkar, under Gopinagar Gram Panchayat said that he is losing Rs. 2,500 profit per week.
“Many flowers are destroyed. I have plucked them and many will destroy if can’t sell in time”, he told TIWN.
The lockdown extension when on the one side has turned necessary, at the same time businessmen are reeling under losses. However, Govt is thinking to save “Lives” and “Livelihood” both.
