AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 12 (TIWN): Tripura Health Dept will conduct a random checking of samples of 10% of the population within 1 km of the infected COVID19 Patients last residence.
In a tweet, Chief Minister Biplab Deb announced it among the many decisions taken to curb COVID19 cases, “Random checking of 10 percent residents within 1 km radius of the first COVID19 patient’s home in Gomati district will be conducted”.
The current status of district-wise quarantine as declared by the Chief Minister : West Tripura (204 persons), Sepahijala (58 persons), Khowai (69 persons), Gomati (132 persons), South Tripura (64 persons), Dhalai (83 persons), Unakoti (26 persons) and North Tripura (133 persons).
Total 2 cases were tested positive in Tripura whereas Health Dept said that both the patients’ conditions are stable.
