AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 12 (TIWN): People of Tripura, who are now stuck in other states are afraid to about lockdown extension issue as they are urging to come back to states.
Although, Tripura Govt is giving fooding and lodging expenses to them per day, but ‘Home Returning’ has become matter of concerns for them.
Various states’ Chief Ministers have urged the Prime Minister to extend lockdown for at least 2 weeks or 15 days as the COVID19 disease continues to rise. In this situation, it has triggered question how the locals of Tripura will return to state amid lockdown extension.
Maharashtra Chief Minister has asked the PM about around 5 lakhs migrant labourers existence there, which will be seen keenly, said Tripura Health Secretary Debasish Basu. In Tripura also migrant workers from other states are stuck in.
In Tripura Bhawans of other states, many people are residing. Few are in hotels including patient parties.
