AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): Amid deadly COVID19 pandemic, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has visited GB, IGM hospitals and checked the arrangement there.

CM said that his IGM hospital visit was to review the COVID19 preparedness where he was accompanied by with Health officials.

He also inspected the isolation unit and treatment center for COVID-19 which is being set up along with all necessary infrastructures.

CM added, “We are fully prepared to deal in case of any eventuality”.

His visit in IGM hospital was one day after GB hospital staffs staged protest demanding PPE, where the COVID19 positive patient is admitted. 

CM also had a telephonic conversation with COVID19 patient and the patient reportedly informed CM that she is now stable.
