AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 7 (TIWN): Total 13 persons have been taken to quarantine in Bhagat Singh Hostel from Ranir Bazar’ Bridhhinagar area under Jirania (West District).
The action came after the first COVID-19 positive patient was tested in the state who is from Udaipur subdivision (Gomati District) and the patient’s history from 19th March included her visit and stays in Bridhhinagar area of Jirania.
Including a baby, total 13 persons have been taken in quarantine and 1 km area have been sealed where nobody can enter and nobody can go out of that place. The total area was sprayed then.
Huge numbers of police have been deployed in that area.
Yesterday, DM Gomati Tarun Kanti Debnath said in a separate press brief that 33 persons were in quarantine since the first positive case was reported in Tripura.
