AGARTALA, April 6 (TIWN): 6.15 lakh rupees have been donated by public in Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s relief fund till now, said Law Minister Ratanlal Nath.

Addressing media, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said : “Till the day before yesterday 6.15 crores rupees were donated in CM’s relief fund. Many people may think, what is happening to those moneys ? We have 12 blocks which are backward and thus we have decided to give Rs. 500 per these families. Total Rs. 4.64 crores have been invested for this".

Ratanlal Nath further said that massive donations are going on from across the society.
