AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Tribal Engineers Society (TES) distributed relief materials among needy people during lockdown period for outbreak of COVID-19. Minister Mebar Jamatia was also present on that occasion.

The programme held on 5th April, 2020 at Namanjoypara VC under Mungiakami Block, Khowai District.

This place is one of the remote villages of the state, out of the limelight but to help the distressed people, the Society has distributed these essential commodities covering areas like Sector Colonypara, Rupachandrapara, Mangalachandrapara, Mulaia Para, Ramchandra Para etc.

The lockdown for 21 days was necessitated to fight the deadly coronavirus killed massive population globally.
