New Delhi / Agartala, April 4 (TIWN): News Agency which stated, "The Indian Railways, which had announced closure of all passenger, mail and express train services from March 24 to April 14 in a bid to stop the chain of transmission of novel coronavirus (Covid-19), has started preparation to resume all its services from April 15, sources said on Saturday", has been denied by Railway Ministry, saying, no such decision has been taken yet. Due to that across India the same news was circulated, later withdrawn by media houses.
"Certain media reports have come on a post lockdown "restoration plan" with train details,frequency etc. It is to clarify that no such plan regarding the resumption of passenger services has been issued.All concerned would be duly informed about any further decision in this regard", Railway Ministry tweeted.
