AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): To promote social distancing practically, Govt of Tripura has inspired the moving vegetable carts to control the COVID-19 pandemic in state. Few have used bicycle instead of cart.
Local people who have bought vegetables from moving vendors, specially women expressed great satisfaction over the supplies during lockdown.
Since lockdown, state govt officials attempted to control the crowds as much as possible but amid police led lathi-charge and other steps, the market gatherings could not be controlled.
Thus, administration now has initiated moving vendors to mitigate the crisis in houses without going to markets.
