TTAADC Election deferred for COVID-19 Lockdown

AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Due to unprecedented outbreak of Corona-Virus in India, across the country elections and other utmost important official events are being deferred and now Tripura’s much awaiting ADC Election is also in halt due to nationwide lockdown, critical situations.
N. Darlong, Secretary of Tribal Welfare Dept said in a notification, “Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an order directing strict implementation of the Guidelines for 21 days guidelines…………having considered the alarming situation, the State Government of Tripura hereby defers the TTAADC Election. 2A2O for an indefinite period till further notification”.
