Coronavirus : Lathi-Charge on Lockdown violators in Tripura

AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Lathi-charges had to be imposed on common men who violated the lockdown protocols.
To avoid gathering’s chances police reportedly kept strict eyes on the public movement and without papers no one was allowed to go anywhere.
Lockdown was necessitated due to massive outbreak of Corona-Virus in Tripura.
It was complained that public are not allowed to go the markets, even medical shops created chaos in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced nationwide three weeks lockdown starting from Tuesday midnight. All states and union territories will come under its purview.
He said this is an essential step to fight coronavirus decisively.
