UDAIPUR, March 21 (TIWN): A 6 years old girl was raped in Udaipur, erupted massive resentment there locally.

The incident took place at the Bodormokam area in Radha Kishore Pur.

The accused is Rajib Acharjee, has been detained by Tripura Police.

Rajib Acharjee who is by profession a hawker has raped the girl after he lured her with food items. When arrested, he attempted to run away but police caught him on spot.

Locals have demanded hardest punishment to the rapist.
