AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): After Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said on Thursday that Supreme Court had dismissed 130,000 posts’ recruitment process, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today has clearly told media that Supreme Court already removed the previous stay order, allowing Govt to recruit the eligible candidates.
Hitting BJP Govt led so called special Cabinet meeting’s decision, Manik Sarkar said, a Cabinet meeting is always special, but why this simple step was taken just few days before the termination ?
Manik Sarkar further stated that Supreme Court can never decide on state affairs and recruitments. Once recruitment is done, then if anyone files petition against it, then only Supreme Court may interfere.
Sarkar said, this is nothing but an attempt to divert the issue.
