AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Senior opposition leader Subal Bhowmik was seen being harassed, physically attacked by BJP hooligans in rape, murdered victim’s home in Mohanpur.

He was visiting on 13^th March in a rape victim’s home who was killed brutally after rape. The victim was 22 years old.

That incident erupted statewide anger, heavy protests generated by common men, opposition parties.

On that time, Congress leaders also visited there and when Subal Bhowmik with other Congress members were talking to the rape victim’s family, he was attacked physically. Subal Bhowmik alleged, not only he but victim’s mother was pulled with her hair and pushed inside the room.

Same happened with Gopal Roy and other opposition as CPI-M leaders, lawyers, journalists. BJP immediately calling press conference had declined any such incident.

This incident was exposed in a leaked video where Subal Bhowmik is seen physically abused, with filthy languages.
